Responsibility
How we govern the business, and how we account for its effects: the structures that keep decisions disciplined, and the commitments that make the growth worth having.
Governance
A company of our size does not need a committee structure, and inventing one would say nothing true. What it does need is a clear answer to who decides, who is accountable, and what sits on the public record. This is ours.
The Public Record
What can be checked should be checkable. The holding is entered in the Dutch Commercial Register under Chamber of Commerce number 74028928, and statutory accounts are filed there each year. We do not publish revenue figures on this site, and we would rather say so plainly than show a chart nobody can verify.
Accountability
The holding is privately owned and has no outside investors, so commercial decisions are made by the people who carry their consequences. There is no committee to route a bad decision through. That cuts both ways, and it is worth being honest about.
Compliance
Beverage trading is regulated at several points at once: customs and consumption taxes, food safety and labelling, packaging and deposit rules that differ by country, and the GDPR wherever personal data is involved. We treat these as operating conditions rather than as a policy statement.
Risk
The concentrated risks in this business are known and dull: a customer who does not pay, a load held at a border, a supplier who cannot deliver into a season. They are managed with payment terms, correct paperwork, and more than one source, rather than with a framework.
Data & Privacy
CTC Management Holding B.V. is the data controller for personal data collected through this site. What is collected, why, and how long it is kept are set out in the privacy policy rather than summarised here, because a summary of a privacy notice is not a privacy notice.
"If we could not repeat it to a buyer’s face, it does not go on the website."
Sustainability
Beverages are a heavy, packaged, road freighted product. That is the honest starting point, and it means the useful commitments here are about weight, packaging, and routing rather than about ambition.
Weight and Load Efficiency
A drinks load reaches its weight limit long before it fills the trailer, so a half planned pallet is a half empty lorry covering the same distance. Building full, correctly weighted loads is the largest single thing we control, and it is a commercial saving before it is an environmental one.
Packaging
Cans, glass, and PET each carry a different weight, a different recycling route, and a different deposit treatment depending on the country they are sold into. We work with all three rather than claim a preference we do not consistently apply.
Routing
Our carrier partner operates out of one of our own warehouses and plans around our shipping calendar, taking outside work in the gaps. A lorry that leaves loaded and returns loaded is the version of this that actually reduces anything.
What We Do Not Claim
We hold no sustainability certification, we publish no emissions figure, and we are not going to imply either. When there is something audited to report, it will appear here with the name of whoever audited it.
People
The holding is small, and the working relationships, with suppliers, with our carrier, with wholesale buyers, are largely with the same people year on year. That is less a policy than a consequence of the size, and it is the main reason terms get honoured without a dispute process.
"A full lorry, or the trip was not worth taking."
